Gateway Church Weekly E-Mail Newsletter

Our weekly e-mail newsletter contains information about upcoming events and other information; then we offer a printed version at our weekend services which contains exactly the same information ... in fact it looks exactly the same too!

If you regularly attend Gateway Church you can subscribe to the newsletter by registering as a user on the website here. Once you have a user account you can subscribe by following these steps:

  1. Log on using your user name & password
  2. Go to "Edit My Profile" (Here you can also make changes to personal information such as your password & email address etc.)
  3. Click on "Site Settings" and check the appropriate box. You may also choose to receive our email prayer requests at this point.

Already have a user account but do not receive the newsletter? You can subscribe by following the same procedure as above.

Requests to be a registered user of our website are reserved for regular attendees of Gateway Church. We will continue to offer a print version of this newsletter for our guests and those who do not have internet access.

Ear to the Ground: Parent Newsletter

Hello parents!

In effort to keep you informed about the world your student lives in, so you can have a greater understanding of their world and to, perhaps, stimulate discussion around your dinner table, I thought it would be a great idea to produce a newsletter.

I believe that the choices, challenges, pressures and expectations teens face today leave a deep and lasting impression on who they are, who they will become, and whether or not they think they matter! To help them sort it all it out, they really need parents who understand them and their world better than they do. The learning curve is steep but I believe it's really important to hang on and climb it anyway!

As Pastor Rick has told me many times, “the greatest hindrance to tomorrow's success is today's success.” What may have worked for us when we were teens, may not work for today's teens and I'm not sure it's a journey all parents are prepared for . . .are you ready for the challenge? Let's dive in and learn what we can. You may end up with more questions but at least we'll have some fun learning together and I believe God will bless you for your efforts.

The Homefront: Family Ministries Newsletter

I believe that the most important relationship, next to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, is the family unit. It is our job, as parents, to teach our children so that they grow up to be physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy. It's a big job, but we can be encouraged by knowing that we aren't doing it alone. We have a loving parent, our Heavenly Father, who wants to guide us every step of the way and just as our children trust in us we can trust in Him.

It is my privilege to work with you and it is my hope that together we can help our children and our families reach their ultimate redemptive potential.
