How do we recognize His name? The Lord is present: YHWH SHAMMA - He is there when I need Him. (Matthew 1:23) The Lord is my provider: YHWH JIREH - He will meet my needs. (Genesis 22:14) The Lord is my peace: YHWH SHALOM - He wants to calm my fears. (Judges 6:24) The Lord is my banner: YHWH NISSI - He wants me to win. (Exodus 17:15) The Lord is my salvation: YHWH YESHUA - He will save me. (Psalm 27:1)
How do we recognize His name accurately? Revere God's name continually (Psalm 29:2) Represent God's name clearly (2 Timothy 2:19) Rely on God's name completely (Psalm 33:21)
